CANCEL ANYTIME!
Your membership starts when an Engagement Letter is signed and the first payment is made.
The membership locks in the rate for attorney advice and provides priority access to your attorney's calendar.
It does not entail additional services (such as contract review, trademark research, corporate formation, etc.), but it does lock in your rate with an attorney for ongoing legal advice.
NOTICE: No attorney-client privilege is formed until an Engagement Letter is signed.
Pricing FAQ
Is the subscription service right for you?
Wilborne Law is designed for start-ups and new businesses that are setting a foundation and need ongoing support. The business model is for businesses that want a predictable flat rate for services and can't afford upfront retainers by unstable or excessive costs.
We do not handle all legal matters but if you speak with one of our attorneys we can analyze the scope of your representation.
How are your flat rate and hourly services different?
We offer flat and hourly rate services based on the nature of the work required and the scope of representation.
For instance, services to file a trademark might include research, analysis, and filing your application at a flat fee ranging between $750-$1,250 per class. However, we would charge an hourly rate for additional research and responding to the trademark examiner on your behalf.
Another example, is for contract review, we typically charge from $50-200 USD per page, depending on the complexity of the deal and how much analysis and detail is required. However, we could charge per hour for any additional research, negotiation, or drafting required.
This type of milestone structure allows you to budget accordingly.
These examples do not guarantee an estimate for your situation. Every circumstance is different and requires an understanding of the scope of representation.
What is covered in the subscription plan?
Your subscription is a deposit for monthly check-ins with your attorney, priority access to your attorney's calendar, and additional discounts on legal services. No services won't be conducted without your permission.
How much is the hourly rate?
The hourly rate depends on the complexity of your issue. For instance, researching whether your company should be an Limited Liability Company or Corporation could range from $100-$200 an hour. However, a more complex representation, such as a cross-border transaction or multi-national corporate structure, could cost anywhere from $300-$550 an hour.
Understanding the complexity of your representation is a key component of our initial consultation and intake process.
Can I make suggestion or improvements?

$100 per month? What's the Catch?!
No catch.
By staying proactive with our clients, we are able to provide better representation and help our clients achieve their goals. This ensures that we can provide ongoing risk management services and stay updated on negotiations, deals, and other matters.
When can I upgrade?
Anytime! Like previously stated, we are flexible and want to grow with you. Thus, if you have busy months out of the year simply upgrade your account, and downgrade it when your business is slow. We aim to make the legal process as simple and seamless as possible.
What legal issues don't you cover?
We do not handle all legal issues, but can recommend a few law firms or attorneys to handle your case depending on your jurisdiction and the subject matter.
